A File System for Managing Deleted Files

On Unix, deleting files is often an irreversible operation. This project develops a file system suitable as a Trash Bin, with similar features to those used in Windows, MacOS, or Gnome's Desktop. Unlike those three, Trashbinfs works with all applications that delete files, by allowing the saving of historical versions of files, ability to browse the Trashbin and recover files from it, and set user policies for automatic compression or purging of files in the Trashbin.
